Handling of blood and its components is a very critical process. Any damage to the lifesaving good has to be avoided. In extracorporeal blood circuits, the pump is a major item with impact to the blood integrity. 

We are driven to optimize the blood handling pump to minimize the mechanical influence to the blood.
